Questions and Answers

Vectorization:

Vector images are different than raster or pixel-based images and photographs (i.e.: .jpg, .gif, .tif) in that vector images are created in a special program with mathematical precision. Files can be easily manipulated and resized without loss of quality; text and edges are crisp and clean. In order for us to make color separations and positives for screenprinting your logo, we require that vectorization be performed. Otherwise, customer provided professional positives are suggested. Non-vectorized one color images submitted at 220dpi without upscaling may be acceptable.

Below, a photo of a family crest logo is seen to the left. The digital picture was then set in a vector-based program and traced from scratch. The center image is the result of vectorizing. With the new clean and mathematically precise logo, quality screenprinting and embroidery can be performed, i.e.: the right embroidered sample.

Custom Artwork:

The below images are screenprinted samples of artwork we created from scratch. These images were hand drawn, then vectorized and stylized. Other types of artwork we perform include the usage of clipart and unique fonts. 90% of the time, however, we clean-up customer provided JPG artwork. Our rates are $45 per hour.
